Custom EGT Sensor Probes
 
These custom Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor probes are designed to work with any K-type thermocouple-based system, including Aim data loggers and digital dash systems. They serve as a direct replacement for the factory Mercury Racing PROBE ASSY-EGT, part number 847558A1.
The PPE probes fit all Mercury V6, 2-stroke, 2.0, 2.4, and 2.5-liter outboard engines. Installation is simple: the probes replace the bottom two bolts on the exhaust divider plate, part number 815552T1.
Note: For a complete measurement of both cylinder banks (1-3-5 and 2-4-6), please order two probes. Monitoring both banks allows you to compare their performance, ensuring similar burn rates and a consistent temperature rise across the RPM range. Ideal EGT readings typically fall between 1,150°F and 1,250°F, depending on your specific powerhead and application.
